   MONTHLY MEETING OF CENTRAL PENSIONERS

The monthly meeting of the Central Government Pensioners' Association will be held on Feb. 10 at Sadvidya School premises, Narayana Shastry Road at 5.15 pm. Dr. T.S. Satyanarayana Rao will preside.

   LECTURE ON CHRONIC DISEASES

Dr. N. Krishnamurthy (retd. Deputy Director, CFTRI) will speak on 'Chronic Diseases' on Feb. 7 at 3 pm at Sri Gopalaswamy Shishuvihar, (Near Nanjumalige), Lakshmipuram in the 97th Natural Life-Monthly meet of Mysore District Nature Cure Samsthe.

   EXAM FEES FOR DEGREE COURSES

JSS College of Arts, Commerce & Science (Autonomous), Ooty Road, has announced the examination fees for May/June 2010 semester examinations of BA/BSc/BCom/BBM/BCA courses. Examination fees will be collected at the college office from Feb. 15. Last date for payment is March 1.

   GNANA YAGNA CONCLUDES

Gnana Yagna on 'Mankuthimmana Kagga' by H.N. Ramathirtha, Chairman of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, which was inaugurated on Feb. 1 by R. Visweswaraiah, Secretary of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, concluded on Feb. 3. There was an interaction programme after the discourse. The teachers and a few students expressed their impression regard- ing the benefit of the yagna.

   SIDDA SAMADHI YOGA CAMP

Rishi Samskruti Vidya Kendra, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, has organised a 14-day Sidda Samadhi Yoga camp at its premises from Feb. 8. A free introductory programme has been organised at 6.15 pm on Feb. 7. For details contact: 94484-58050.

   CITY DOC FOR ORTHO ORATION

Dr. B.G. Sagar, Professor, Orthopaedics, Mysore Medical College, has been invited to deliver 'Professor Varghese Chaco Oration' during Karnataka Orthopaedic Association Conference at St. John's Medical College, Bangalore, on Feb. 6. Dr. Sagar is working in Mysore Medical College and Research Institute and KR Hospital since 1990.
